Q&A with Nik Sexton and Friends

Following the free online screening of How to Be Deadly on National Canadian Film Day, we chatted with director Nik Sexton and cast members Leon Parson (Donnie Dumphy) and Gina Squires (Brenda). Clearly, this group are close friends who were excited to see each other after a long time. They were riffing off of each other and at times it felt like I was interrupting a private conversation that was full of those "you had to be there" kinds of moments that only a close-knit group of friends would get. There's a lot of great behind-the-scenes stories and funny moments here; like the time the manager at Sobey's Square Cinema in St. John's Newfoundland lauded that the last time they sold out was when they showed Frozen.
