Culture & Style
TMFF is the world's largest film and arts festival dedicated to the celebration of motorcycles and motorcycle culture.
Based in Toronto with events across Canada and the world, TMFF has been sharing universal stories told through the lens of motorcycling since 2017. Unique and transformative experiences unite riders and non riders alike in all things motorcycling.
Every year, TMFF reviews over sixty new feature length and short films from around the world, selecting the best of the best to showcase in theatres, at outdoor venues, and on our online streaming platform. From emerging filmmakers to World Premieres by established directors, we bring people together to immerse themselves in motorcycle culture through stories that connect each of us. TMFF is an IMDB-certified festival.
Gallery exhibition like the Fast Forward and the Breath of Life shows, brought together incredible examples of motorcycle style and craftsmanship. Hand built motorcycles from some of the world's most recognized custom builders, or rare and highly-prized "Lost Singapore" Vincent Lightning, were combined with works from leading contemporary artists and photographers, curated from international galleries.
We’ve hosted a number of food and cocktail events ranging from opening night parties with live music from musical acts such as Toronto's premiere hip-hop and trap band, T.Dot Bangerz Brass, an Elvis impersonator, and live DJ sets, to filmmaker gala dinners, charity art events, and filmmaker press junkets.
From one-on-one conversations with filmmakers, or live-narrated Director's cuts that go behind the lens, to larger panel discussions, TMFF Talks are timely and focus on the topics that matter to our audience such as: Motorcycles as Agents for Positive Change, Women Behind the Lens, All-Canadian Filmmaker Panel, Adventure & Travel, Going Beyond Limits, Motorcycling History, and Awards Presentation.
