Thank you for your interest in volunteering for TMFF 2019. As the festival continues to evolve, we rely on the support of a small group of volunteers who are passionate about the cultural aspect that we bring to the motorcycle community. We are looking for a team to welcome our filmmakers, help attendees, and assist with the operation of the Festival and its events.
The Festival and the related Fast Forward gallery exhibit run October 3–6, 2019 at the Revue Cinema and Birch Contemporary gallery in Toronto.
How You Can Help
Have a read through the volunteer position descriptions below for the roles available. If you're 18 years of age or older, are reliable, have a flexible attitude, and are a people person, please email us at info@torontomotofilmfest.com and let us know what position you're interested in and include some information about your related experience.
Volunteers receive access to TMFF screenings, swag, the chance to interact directly with filmmakers and cast members, make new friends, and the feeling you helped make it all happen.
Volunteer Positions
Video Editor
Using Premiere, you will edit footage from our TMFF Talks Q&A chats, interviews with filmmakers, recorded panels and talks, and event coverage. The videos will be featured on the Festival's YouTube channel, website and social media channels. Note: you must have your own copy of Adobe Premiere.
Social Media Manager
You'll assist us to manage the social media account for the Festival, curate and create content including IG stories, create original copy for posts, and coordinate cross-promotional posts with partners. Experience with Later or similar content scheduling system would be preferred but not mandatory.
Graphic Designer
Using Illustrator you'll help us create original designs using the Festival brand assets to be featured on all Festival communication, including website, social media, digital and print ads. Experience with Boxy SVG would be beneficial but not required. Note: you must have your own copy of Adobe Illustrator.
Event Assistant / Usher
Assist at the Festival venues managing lineups, handing out Film Guides and swag bags, capturing attendee votes for the People's Choice award, and answering . Assist with the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events, receptions, and more.
Hospitality
Provide concierge services for filmmakers and their guests and work closely with VIP Pass holders to ensure they have an incredible festival experience!
