Stories of women riders – and the people, places, and moments that shaped their journey.

This spotlight is dedicated to all the women riders out there; the female trail, track, and tarmac blazers who ignite our inspiration. During this time of renewal, we contemplate all the people who helped propel us to take that final, fabulous leap of faith, and followed up with strength and support. And if TMFF attendance patterns are also an indication, women will continue to break barriers, and records on two wheels.

Alicia Mariah Elfving, is a motorcycle rider, writer, and photographer. The motorcycle has changed her life. Ride over her shoulder along the epic landscapes of Highway 33 through Los Padres National Forest in Ojai, California. Her motto, comes from dare-devil author Hunter S. Thompson, is reflected in her ferocious approach to life:"Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death."
