Christophe and Lawrence have both experienced this epic race in similar ways, as privateers. Minimal to no support, self-funded, riding upwards of 800 km a day for up to 21 grueling days through some of the toughest conditions on the planet.
We talked to them about their experience racing the Dakar, the challenges to make it happen and lessons learned.
