Canada ∙ 4 MIN ∙ Documentary ∙ 2025 ∙ English ∙ World Premiere

ll-Fated Kustoms is a heartfelt documentary tracing the journey of Kenny and Jen, a motorcycle-loving couple whose lives were forever changed after a devastating crash. Surviving severe injuries, Kenny’s passion for riding and custom builds sparked the birth of Ill-Fated Kustoms, a small garage that grew into a thriving hub for motorcycle culture in Calgary. Through grit, creativity, and community spirit, they’ve built more than bikes; they’ve built a family. The film captures their resilience, the challenges of starting a business, and their mission to create an inclusive space, proving that from tragedy can come an enduring legacy.

Director Statement

When I first met Kenny and Jen of Ill-Fated Kustom, I knew this wasn’t just a film about motorcycles — it was about survival, passion, and building a family from the ground up. Their journey through devastating accidents, rebuilding from nothing, and fostering a welcoming community in a male-dominated space resonated deeply with my own belief that stories have the power to inspire change.
