Ascension

Directed by Dylan Wineland

USA ∙ 5 MIN ∙ Documentary, Experimental ∙ 2026 ∙ English

Ascension explores that magical state when thought falls away and rider, motorcycle and road begin to feel like one continuous experience. Told through Aaron’s perspective, the film tries to capture something many riders recognize but struggle to explain: the rare moments on a motorcycle when you are completely, unmistakably present.

Director Statement

Our goal has always been to put our experiences that we cannot put into words into our films. We have always set out on a mission to visually represent the divine experience that one can reach through riding their motorcycle. We believe this film is the closest we've been to achieving that.
