Revue Cinema


Built between 1911 and 1912, the Revue Cinema has the distinction of being one of the oldest continuously running theatres in the country. The cinema has a capacity of 236 seats, a fully stocked concession stand and is equipped to screen 16mm, 35mm, DVD/BluRay, 2K digital projection including 3D format content.​



The Revue Cinema is located at 400 Roncesvalles Avenue, three blocks south of Bloor and Dundas Street West. With multiple options to ride, drive, subway or streetcar, it is easy to get to from anywhere in the city.

By Motorcycle or Car

  • From the QEW: Exit at at Jameson, turn left at King Street, and follow King until it turns into Roncesvalles.

  • From Lakeshore Boulevard: exit at Parkside, and follow Parkside to Howard Park Avenue. Follow Howard Park to Roncesvalles Avenue and there you are!


  • Take the 504 King car which stops right outside The Revue.

  • Take the 505 Dundas streetcar to Roncesvalles (outside the Starbucks) and walk the last block down to the cinema.

  • Take the 506 College streetcar to Roncesvalles Avenue.

  • Dundas West subway station: you can either walk 3 blocks south or take the 504 straight down to The Revue or the 505 to the top of Roncesvalles.
